Animal census conducted in Loreto to promote animal welfare

Loreto, BCS – Local authorities conducted an animal census in Loreto with the goal of planning public health measures, controlling the dog population, and promoting animal welfare in the municipality.

The census will allow authorities to identify the areas with the highest concentration of stray animals and design strategies for their care, including sterilization campaigns and responsible adoption.

The census organizers emphasized the importance of citizen participation in these initiatives and urged the public to collaborate in the actions that will be implemented based on the results obtained.
