The 2025 Easter season brought historic tourism figures to Baja California Sur. According to data from the State Tourism Secretariat

The 2025 Easter season yielded historic tourism figures for Baja California Sur. According to data from the State Tourism Secretariat, the main destinations, led by La Paz and Los Cabos, recorded an average hotel occupancy rate of 92%, exceeding initial expectations.

The economic impact generated during the holiday period amounted to more than 2.8 billion pesos, driven primarily by domestic tourism. Restaurants, hotels, tour operators, and local businesses reported increases of between 20% and 30% compared to the same period in 2024.

State authorities emphasized that this season's success was reflected not only in the numbers, but also in the diverse range of activities offered to visitors: whale-watching tours, kayaking, hiking, regional cuisine, and cultural events.

In La Paz, beaches like Balandra and El Tecolote remained among the favorites, while in Los Cabos, El Arco and La Marina registered a steady flow of tourists. Adventure tourism and ecotourism also showed significant growth, consolidating Baja California Sur as a top-tier nature destination.

The hotel sector, for its part, reported high levels of visitor satisfaction, which bodes well for the upcoming summer season.

With these results, Baja California Sur reaffirms its position as one of Mexico's most important tourist destinations and strengthens its economic recovery after the challenges of previous years.
