Loreto, BCS – This week, Loreto is getting ready for a festive season with the launch of the "Sea of Music and Color 2025" Festival , a cultural event celebrating the artistic diversity and traditions of South California in one of Baja California Sur's most iconic magical towns.

The festival, organized by the Instituto Sudcaliforniano de Cultura and the Loreto City Council , kicked off this Thursday, April 24, and will run through Sunday, April 27, with a program that includes outdoor concerts, art exhibits, craft workshops, folk dance, and presentations by local writers.

One of the most anticipated events is the BCS Youth Symphonic Band Concert , which will be presented in Salvatierra Plaza, where there will also be a craft market and a regional gastronomic showcase.

“This festival is an opportunity for local talent to shine and for families to enjoy quality performances that foster a love for our roots,” said Teresa de Jesús Osuna , director of the Loreto Municipal Institute of Culture.

In addition, workshops on mural painting, alebrije creation, and traditional music will be held for children and young people, strengthening direct contact with art as an essential part of community development.

The event is expected to attract more than 5,000 visitors, both locals and tourists, generating a positive impact on the municipality's cultural and tourism economy.

Loreto demonstrates, once again, that its wealth lies not only in its landscapes, but also in the vitality of its culture.
