The BCS youth volleyball team qualifies for the National Olympics

The U-17 women's volleyball team qualified for the National Olympics after defeating Sonora and Baja California in the regional tournament held this weekend in La Paz.


After an outstanding performance in the Macro Regional stage held in Hermosillo, Sonora, the Baja California volleyball delegation secured its place in the 2025 Conade National Olympiad by qualifying its six representative teams.


For volleyball, the National Olympics will be held next May in the city of Colima, where Baja California teams will seek to consolidate their dominance in the children's and youth categories, both in women's and men's categories.


Results of the last day in Hermosillo:

- Women's Under-18s: Baja California defeated Sonora with scores of 25-20 and 25-18.

- Women's Juniors: In a close match, Baja California defeated Tamaulipas with scores of 18-25, 25-23 and 15-11.

- Senior Men's Youth: Baja California's resounding victory over Nuevo León, 25-15 and 25-19.

- Junior Boys: Baja California defeated Baja California Sur with scores of 25-18 and 25-15. - Junior Boys: In a hard-fought match, Baja California defeated Zacatecas 25-17, 16-25, and 17-15.
