Violent day reported in Baja California Sur

La Paz, BCS – Baja California Sur experienced a day of violence in which four people were murdered in different municipalities: one in Los Cabos , another in La Paz , and two in Guerrero Negro .
The incident occurred after a banner was found warning of murders against police officers. Governor Víctor Manuel Castro Cosío condemned the incident and assured that security in the state would be strengthened.
"I say clearly to the families of South California: we will not back down in our responsibility to safeguard the peace and security of all," the president emphasized.
Authorities have launched investigations to clarify the events and strengthen the presence of security forces in the affected areas.
